Imagine a light-filled loft, with the trees of the woods as your horizon. A coffee on the quiet terrace, the sound of birds, a stroll along the Meuse river… then the pleasure of returning to a warm and comfortable interior after a day of exploration.

… Welcome to the Fox's Loft.

Located in Wépion, near Namur, our gîte welcomes you to a verdant setting, nestled between woods and the Meuse valley. We envisioned this place as a true escape, a place to slow down, breathe, and fully enjoy the present moment.

A warm loft nestled between wood and nature

This independent 80 m² cottage, arranged on two levels at the rear of our property, can accommodate up to 3 people.

Its large bay windows offer beautiful natural light and a pleasant view of the woods. Inside, the oak wood, the metal structure and the suspended mezzanine bedroom create an atmosphere that is contemporary, warm and authentic.

The Fox Loft is an open and bright space, designed to make you feel right at home quickly.

For your comfort, you have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a television, a pellet stove, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a citrus press and everything you need to enjoy your stay in peace.

The bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

Upstairs, two sleeping areas can comfortably accommodate 3 people:

• a double bed measuring 160 × 200 cm
• a bed measuring 120 × 200 cm

Bed linen, towels and household linen are provided.

A terrace to enjoy the wooded surroundings

In fine weather, the large tree-lined terrace naturally becomes an extension of the loft.

Settle into the lounge, enjoy a quiet coffee or share a meal outdoors thanks to the dining area equipped with an electric griddle.

Here, nature is an integral part of your stay. The trees, the birds, and sometimes a few squirrels or deer remind you that you are in the heart of a privileged environment.

And when you feel like exploring, the Meuse, the RAVeL and the walking trails are very close.

Just a few minutes away, Namur and its citadel invite you to discover the heritage, gastronomy, and atmosphere of the Walloon capital. The Meuse Valley also offers numerous opportunities for day trips to Dinant, Maredsous, the Annevoie Gardens, and many other places to explore.

Because a holiday with a toddler often requires thinking about many things, we wanted to make life easier for young parents.

At Loft du Renard, you can travel lighter: We provide you with the following free of charge:

Why "The Fox's Loft"?

The name of the gîte is a nod to Wépion.

The village's name originates from the Latin word Vulpilio , meaning " land of foxes." The fox has thus become the central theme of the Loft du Renard, serving as a small link between our guesthouse, the village, and the surrounding nature.
